Becoming is a hanging sculptural piece. It is part of a series of works exploring the theme of impermanence. The works use reclaimed, partly decayed materials, sometimes juxtaposed with newer synthetic materials. I’m interested in the effects of time and natural forces on human-made structures and materials.

Becoming uses discarded timber, reclaimed wire and jute, rusted nails, blued tacks, bronzed nails, gold thread and fishing line.
